Aerial photos give a listing something a normal photo can't: a view of the whole picture. Here are the questions we get most about using aerial for South Carolina real estate.

What is aerial photography, exactly?

It's shooting from up high, usually with a drone. You get a bird's-eye look at the property and everything around it, which is tough to pull off from the sidewalk. The gear these days is good and a lot more affordable than it used to be.

How does it help a listing?

An aerial shows the whole layout, the land, and what's nearby, so buyers can picture the place in its setting. Listings with aerial shots tend to hold attention longer online, and that usually means more inquiries.

Why does it matter for big properties?

On a farm, an estate, or anything with acreage, the size is the selling point, and you only really feel that from the air. Aerials show the scale, the layout, and the access, all the stuff a ground shot crops out.

Can it show off specific features?

Yep. Pools, landscaping, a great backyard, how close the property sits to a lake or a main road. From above, the things that make a place special actually read.

Is it worth the money?

There's a cost up front, but a stronger listing tends to pull more eyes and can hold its price better. Homes with full, clear galleries usually spend less time sitting, which saves everybody time.
